Hey guys, just thought you should know a little more about who I am! I am new christian and I love serving God. I decided to come to know him and get baptized with my family by Paul. I love to pray! I pray all the time! I am very eager to learn. I just love the fun, new things you get study on a daily basis. I love to serve God and a way that I found out that I could do so was opening my home to people in need. I felt the need to open my house to people was because people need help turning over new leaves just as I did so I know what they are going through.
I am mostly known for being converted or transformed into a Christian women. Closely afterward, I persuaded Paul and Silas to come stay at my house if they truly thought that i was a believer in Christ. Since they knew I was, the came and stayed with me after they had gotten out of prison. They were hospitalized by me and enjoyed staying with me, as anyone would. Well anyways, people think that I am really wealthy, but not really... I mean I do make a lot of money by sealing my purple cloth, but i don't think that I am that wealthy. Although I do sell my cloth for a quite expensive price.. Maybe I will bring it down. Nah. It is very special to me to sell my cloth because no one else has it... unless if they buy it of course. But purple is definitely my favorite color.Well that is basically all you need to know about me right now. I will explain more things in depth later. The by far most important thing that you need to know about me is that I am a Christ follower and nothing anyone can say or do can change that!
My friends are a very important attribute in my life. All of my friends live me, well most of them. I think that friends are a very important thing to have. Without friends, you can't tell anyone about how you feel and everything will just build up inside. A few of my friends started going to a Christian Church because of me. That made me feel like a great person that I was the one to bring them to God. Before then they all thought there was more than one God. My friends are the most amazing people. We all believe in God and we all think that we can all help everyone. We all love to be apart of each others lives and to help each other with the struggles we face. My friends are very special to me because without them, I don't think I would have come to know God as I know him right now. We all have questions and we all learn at different levels. We help each other figure things out and we all know different things. It helps us learn when everyone knows different things because we all learn from each other so its better to learn different things if you know what I mean. We all have different strategies of learning and we all have different ways of comprehending the bible. We take turns reading the bible and teaching the word of God. My friends all have very different personalities and it is very interesting to see what knew things happen everyday. With all the different attitudes running around my house, we sometimes disagree on things, we aren't perfect. Some days we all get along fine, others we argue all day long, but in the end, we all know we love each other and we all know that we are there for each other. We will be friends until God takes us to Heaven then we will be even closer!
Today was church. It is really fun! I like that i get to worship Jesus Christ in the comfort of my home with my friends. Although I would much rather have a big place to worship, at least we can worship though. Well at church today, we talked about how we can expand. Sometimes we have the days that we don't really talk about Jesus, but more about what Jesus is doing in our lives or what he is doing with our church. Today was one of those days. We just basically went around telling how God has worked in our lives this week and how he has been working in our church bringing new people and expanding us. We were also thinking about going around and evangelize. We couldn't decide whether to do that or not yet because we didn't want to just jump on it when we didn't know if that is what God wants us to do. Every week we have an assignment, every week it is very different and every week we have to make sure that we complete our accomplishment. This weeks task was to see if God wants us to evangelize or not. We have to pray about it and see if God is leading us to do so. I have in fact prayed since church and I do think that he is leading us, or me, to do so. I think that our church needs to reach out to others with all that we can. Even though we don't have much, others don't have anything. Some people aren't fortunite enough to be able to worship whomever they want. I feel that we can do something to change that or help change that.
The first thing I do in the morning is pray. If I am in pain, hurting, or just need God, I pray. Praying is something I do all the time. We don't have a synagogue so I just pray in my household, which is more convenient for me and my fellow household members. It is very comforting to know that my friends are going to be there for me when i need them because they live and my home and know what goes on in my life. Praying is something that we like to do together so everybody knows everything about everyone which is nice because for one, there are no secrets, two the people there always know what is going good and bad in your life and they can help. I like to see everyone helping others. It is also very amazing to see how people that didn't really know each other before can get along so well and be so open to each other. Like today for example, Peter was having a hard time taking in that God didn't want for him to go visit another church. I went to him later that hour and explained to him that God didn't want him to do that because He didn't want him to be tempted to start going to that church. Since everyone knew about it, we all had to tell him about how God has a plan for everyone and that God might not like the plan that we have made for ourselves.
As I had mentioned in my earlier posts, I opened my home to Paul and Silus after they had come home from jail shortly after I had accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I know I have talked about this before, but I still want to tell you about it because that was a very important time for me. Not just letting them in my home, but before being baptized. I was baptized with my family, or should I better say household, by Peter. It was a very memorable moment. I remember every bit of it. Peter dipped me into the water but before he was saying how my old life will be buried forever, i went under, then when i came up, he said and risen with new life. Up to that point, I didn't know who God was. I thought I was living a great life, but I was living a lie. Now I am truely God's daughter. If Paul and Silus would have come out of jail anytime before then, i probably would not have been so open to them. Now I see that we are a servant to God and that we should do what ever we can to serve him.
Paul and Silas were men that went to jail and when they got out, I took them in. I felt that God was leading me to help them out. Because I did this, my house was the first household to be a Christian Church in Europe. That was a very special thing for me because I had just become a Christian and now I was the first household to have a Christian Church in Europe. I couldn't even believe it myself.
